TOUR IN SWEDEN and SELECTED FOR STAGE ART BIENNALEN 2021
Norrdans' Artistic Director Martin Forsberg, scenographer Chrisander Brun, and composer SØS Gunver Ryberg, will take the audience's personal experience to take center stage. Starting from the commonly heard phrase, "I don't understand contemporary dance," Martin, Chrisander, and SØS aim to flip the idea of understanding and create unique experiences for each spectator. Together with Norrdans' eight dancers, they explore the components of what communication entails and our expectations within the theater space. This will involve sparkling asymmetry, intense wordless discussions, and perhaps an opportunity to hold someone's hand.
